This is the 800m at the city meet when I was in grade 10. I am wearing the white singlet. This is finishing lap one, and I was feeling very good at this point in the race. These girls are my friends, and were the only competitors in this race the previous year in grade 9 also. In grade 9; I was tied for second the whole race until the last 200m when I had a kick of speed at the end to win. This year I was very happy with placing first in one of my favourite races, and I knew that I had improved from my grade 9 year, but being able to have results that show it made it even better. :)
